1st DVD Cover

I recently illustrated a DVD  cover for an independent canadian federation called Inter Species Wrestling, entitled The Worst That Can Happen.  Normally, the one who's done covers for them has been 

Jesus Marquez (illustrations) and Danny Ramirez (colors)..but they were unavailable and Marquez suggested that I take a crack at it...so, this is what I came up with...enjoy

To be or not to be?

Hey everyone! 

So as I've posted lately, I've been on this coloring trip. It's gotten to the point that I'd draw on the computer just so I can color it. Recently, God blessed me with a great compliment and encouragement from fellow artist and brother in Christ Eric Merced...

Anywho, he made a request and thought I'd fulfill it and post it...so here ya go...

Here's the thing (no pun intended), I 've met  many artist in my life, mostly non mainstream.

The ones that I draw with, or have drawn, with whether its a jam session, sketching for free comic book day, or a commission piece the one character that i've seen others drawn or have been asked to draw is THING from the Fantastic 4.  

Since I've been on this coloring kick, he  came to mind...so I thought I'd just go simple and do a head shot......I came to the conclusion that I can't stand drawing this character...I'd rather draw the lines of Spider-Man's costume than draw this guy...

Anywho, here ya go...enjoy!....

Again this took me some time on and off, especially due to the new show GLEE that was on today (which is awesome, so far)...

This took me a day (on and off) to complete... That's slow? Yeah, I know.

I did it to really practice my coloring technique... Just need to be a bit faster.

Coolest thing about working with a tablet is not wasting paper. Instead of throwing a bad sketch, you can just undo it...Anywho, I like how it came out. Enjoy!
